BWA Painting the New Mango School, May 16th 2009

It was a hot day when we all drove past Quezon to get to the site of the New Mango School, near the Payatas dumpsites. While most of us got down to work with the paint brushes and lots of help from the school children, Sarah and Paulette made a BarBQ in a wheelbarrow and cooked hot dogs to keep us all going. Thanks to Sarah McLeod for the Photos.

Here we are on the starting blocks, a concrete school, the boss in blue, Diane well protected from drips and more helpers looking at the enormity of the task.

After two coats the room looked bright and cheerful. Just waiting for the students to arrive. They chose their own colours!
