Once again BWA was the recipient of a last minute delivery of rice from Jo Riley and his group who do many parties. This year we were lucky enough to get 2 and half tons, more than last year and so we needed more cars! So thanks must go to Barb, Fiona, Linda, Craig, margaret and Bernard who all turned up with their cars and drivers at 7.30am on Saturday the 19th December to load and deliver the rice to all of our charities. McDonalds breakfast buns and juice was enjoyed by all and Barb even had her own coffee cup with her to keep her going! This last miniute event is at a crazy time of year but of course all of charities were absolutely delighted to receive this extra special gift. Thank you to all those all volunteered on the day, it really was most welcome and made for an easy morning! - Sarah
