BWA High Tea April 2009

This year we once again were able to use the great sun lounge room in Maria Ellis’s home and nearly 60 ladies came along to enjoy our special BWA Pimms, and yummy food  donations. Carepak sponsored the Pimms again this year, so thank you Stella for organising that. Other sponsors were The Dusit Thani Hotel and the Renaissance Makati City hotel, who were wonderful and gave us a great selection of chocolate brownies and lemon slice and cheese cake! Once again the Manila Club came along to ensure we were set up on time and cleared up as well. All the Social Sub Committee pitched in, so a big thanks to Janet, Paulette, Linda, Di, Sharlene, Jan, Jill and of course Elizabeth who coordinated the sale if the tickets and the raffle prizes. - report by Sarah McLeod
